At ZOOZ Fitness, we’re always looking for new ways to help our athletes grow stronger — not just physically, but socially, creatively, and emotionally as well.

From boxing to Zumba to circuit training, ZOOZ athletes already enjoy a wide variety of unique and energizing ways to move their bodies. Now, there’s an exciting new addition to the lineup: an advanced Sports Class designed to bring the joy and benefits of athletics to every athlete.
The idea came from Jared, ZOOZ’s fitness director, whose lifelong passion for sports fuels his belief that they can transform lives.
“Sports build confidence and social skills, like teamwork and communication,” Jared explained. “It’s fitness in disguise—because you’re having fun while moving your body. Whether you’re dribbling a basketball, kicking a soccer ball, or passing a football, you’re working on cardio endurance and strength without even realizing it.”
Launched in May, the class has already featured basketball, soccer, and football. This month’s focus is baseball, giving athletes the chance to develop not only physical endurance but also coordination, agility, and strategic thinking.
“It’s been such a rewarding challenge to adapt these sports into an inclusive and competitive experience where everyone can participate,” Jared said.
The response from athletes has been overwhelmingly positive:
* Alex: “I love the challenge of the sports class—it’s fun while exercising.”
* Alec: “It’s awesome because I like being athletic and motivated.”
* Sivan: “The sports class motivates me to stay fit, and I get to connect with new and old friends.”
For Jared, the bigger vision goes beyond weekly sessions.
“It’s really cool to see the social connections forming through sports,” he shared. “My goal is to eventually create a ZOOZ sports league and continue pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve together.”
The new ZOOZ Sports Class offers a more advanced level of programming, tailored for athletes with lower support needs who are eager to expand their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the challenge of team-based activities.
The class meets every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. — offering athletes a chance to build fitness, confidence, and community one game at a time.
